Between Stage, Conservatory, and Care

 2025-2026

When she is not on tour or away for artistic engagements, Valéria Florencio teaches voice in the lyrical arts program at the Regional Conservatory of Montélimar.

For the past three years, she has been passionately sharing her expertise in the operatic repertoire, guiding students in their vocal, artistic, and stage development. She also leads the conservatory’s children’s choirs (maîtrises), a demanding and collaborative role that combines musical excellence with pedagogy and artistic transmission.

 

In addition to her artistic and educational work, Valéria regularly takes part in therapeutic music missions within medical settings, using the voice as a tool for healing and well-being.

Her schedule is rich and diverse, reflecting a deep commitment to the voice in all its dimensions, as an instrument of art, learning, and care.

Artistic Mission in Réunion Island – A Musical Interlude Under the Tropics-2025

 

 

From September to December, Valéria Florencio is undertaking a four-month professional mission on Réunion Island, as part of a teaching assignment at the Regional Conservatory (CRR).

 

During this period, she will share her expertise in vocal technique and musical expression with students of all levels, combining technical rigor, artistic transmission, and vocal sensitivity. This temporary residency is a natural extension of her dedication to vocal education and talent development, while also offering an opportunity to explore the cultural and musical wealth of the island.

 

In parallel with her conservatory work, Valéria Florencio will continue her professional activities remotely, including vocal coaching, artistic collaborations, musical creation, and pedagogical projects.

 

Though brief, this experience promises to be a rich and inspiring chapter, driven by artistic encounters, cross-cultural dialogue, and meaningful engagement with the local musical scene.

New Year’s Concert in Étampes- 2026

 

As every year, the City of Étampes welcomes soprano Valéria Florencio for a special concert. The 2026 edition will take place on New Year’s Day, featuring a festive program of classical pieces, seasonal music, and brilliant works for voice, piano, and trumpet.

 

She will be joined by pianist Frédéric Isoletta and guest trumpeter Sham’s Bouteille, for an uplifting musical evening to start the year in style.

Each year, lyric artist Valéria Florencio is invited to the prestigious Cannes Film Festival, where she graces the iconic red carpet with elegance and poise. A loyal guest of the event, she also attends the exclusive gala evening at the Carton Hotel, a celebration that brings together key figures from the worlds of cinema and culture.

 

Her presence at Cannes beautifully embodies the meeting of music and film, in a setting that celebrates both glamour and artistic expression.

for a Ciné-Concert Performance
 
 
As part of the prestigious Nuits du Ramadan, the Institut Français of Marrakech invited soprano Valéria Florencioto take part in an exceptional ciné-concert featuring Carl Theodor Dreyer’s silent masterpiece, The Passion of Joan of Arc.
 
Renowned for its emotional intensity and cinematic innovation, this 1928 classic was presented with a live vocal performance by Valéria Florencio, whose interpretation brought a powerful and sacred dimension to the screening. Her voice accompanied the film’s imagery with depth and sensitivity, offering audiences a unique and profoundly moving artistic experience.
 
This performance stood as a highlight of the Institut’s Ramadan program, celebrating the intersection of cinema, music, and spiritual reflection.

ST. EUSTACHE OPERA FESTIVAL, CANADA

 

 

Valéria will be invited to the St-Eustache Festival in Canada to present her acclaimed show Opera in Celebration. Her performance will be met with great success, captivating the audience from the very first note.

 

Her powerful and unforgettable finale, “Meine Lippen, sie küssen so heiß” from Juditha, will leave a lasting impression — a moment that will remain engraved in the memory of all who attend.

A Private Concert in Budapest – An Invitation from the Liszt Family

Valéria Florencio had the distinct honor of performing a private concert in the elegant Callas Salon of Budapest, upon the invitation of a member of Franz Liszt’s family. She was accompanied by the gifted pianist Kornél Komjàti, offering a refined musical moment in a setting steeped in history.

 

Beyond the concert, Valéria took time to explore the breathtaking city of Budapest — a place where architectural grandeur meets the poetic flow of the Danube. Its timeless charm, vibrant culture, and majestic views left a lasting impression.
